How to fit door latch handles by DirectDoors.com
A DIY video to try and make installing door latch handles easier, probably the shortest of videos as there really isn't much to learn but here are two tips;
1, A simple tip is to make sure the metal "spindle" that links both handles together is neither too long making the handles stiff if it hits the inside of the handles when the handle is screwed on to the door.
2, Or too short where it gradually works its way to one side of the handle pair and the opposite handle then stops working, test this by placing the spindle deep in to one handle and then measure the amount of spindle showing against what thickness the door is to make sure it is long enough to connect to the other half of the handle pair when eventually the handles are fitted.
