35mmor40mm doors (depending on choice and availability) and a frame section of 180mm.

The idea is to build the pocket to the same thickness as the studwork - 155mm(6" approx.) so that you can directly fit the standard 12.5mmplasterboard over the pocket, providing the finished wall thickness of 180mm (7").

Further layers of plasterboard can be added to increase the overall wall thickness but other joinery work may be required. When fully open the leading door projects 9cm out of the pocket.

When the telescopic doors are fully closed with both doors out of the cassette, the overlap of the doors will be about 5 cm on average.

The Sierra Blanco is a stylish pocket door choice, bringing a crisp white painted finish to rooms where a standard door swing would get in the way.

Soft-close hardware is included for a smoother closing action; a router is required for installation; and the Staffetta telescopic arrangement is made for wider openings where multiple doors slide neatly into the wall pocket.
