The DirectDoors Handmade Urban Lite® Double Doors boast a thickness of 40mm and are meticulously crafted from solid composite European Wood.
Please take note that once the order is received, these bespoke doors cannot be cancelled, as they are specially tailored for you. The estimated delivery time falls within the range of 5-6 weeks.
We kindly request that you refrain from arranging any tradesmen until the goods have safely arrived, been thoroughly inspected for damages, and are ready for installation according to your intentions. Potential courier delays due to factors like illness, traffic, or product damage can affect your plans. The inherent grain patterns in wood products contribute to their natural beauty, regardless of the veneer type. We cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs arising from premature installation, courier delays, or preferences related to grain patterns.
Rest assured, the glass bars are securely bonded to the glass, and all beading features a bevelled design. It's important to note that our glass and panel doors are beaded on one side only. When fitting multiple doors, exercise care to ensure consistent placement of the beads on a single side.
The process:
- Make your choices as you go through the buying process and place your order.
- A technical drawing is produced for sign off, our suppliers’ technical team is on hand to produce a detailed drawing outlining your specifications and requirements. Once you are happy with the drawings and documentation, sign the form and submit back to us as your door retailer.
- Your bespoke doors are manufactured using the tech drawing as a guide, we will build your doors to this specification using rigorous quality control to make sure every inch of your doors are made to perfection.
- Your doors are delivered to you using our own fleet of wagons or a third-party courier, we're able to deliver without any extra charges anywhere in the UK.
Please note that as soon as the sign off document is received these doors cannot be cancelled even though it is on the longer delivery scale.

Please do not arrange any tradesman until the goods have arrived, been checked over for damages and are suitable for installation as you intended, courier delays due to illness, traffic issues or product damages can also impact on your arrangements. Wood products will have a naturally occurring grain, this will vary regardless of veneer type, this is the beauty of wood. We cannot be held liable for any consequential costs should you arrange an early installation or whether the courier is delayed and lastly if the grain is wavy / straight and not to your liking.
